ROUND 2 of the Playoffs is here. Round 1 wasn’t a tough slate to guess as I went 4-0 on my straight up picks and 2-2 against the spread. This week I will aim to do the same but better, course. So, without any further ado, let’s get it.
Saturday January 14th
Seattle (+5) at Atlanta (-5)
My pick here is Atlanta to win the game but not cover the spread. This game is going to be tight because well, it always is. Seattle played pretty good defense last week and the offense found a rushing attack. That is vulnerability for Atlanta. Look for it to be close but Atlanta squeaks it out, ATLANTA 28-24
Houston (+16) at New England (-16)
Listen, New England isn’t losing this game so there is no reason to even make a pick here but let’s talk about the spread. Giving 16 points is just ridiculous but maybe not given who the game is. However, I find it hard to concede 16 points if betting my money. I’ll take, NEW ENGLAND 35-20
Sunday January 15th
Steelers (+1) at Kansas City (-1)
The last time these two met it was a blowout. You can make the argument about the Steelers being much better than they were before and that Kansas City , although also better, still has catching up to do. My argument, is this, Big Ben, AB and LB, STEELERS 35-17
Green Bay (+4.5) at Dallas (-4.5)
The game everyone is going to want to watch is this one. A, red hot, hail marry throwin, 19TD-0INT havin, 7 game win streak Aaron Rodgers vs the Rookie dynamic duo in Dak and Zeke. This game screams classic to me. Even with Jordy out I think this is still a high scoring affair. I'm feeling a good ol’ fashioned shootout in Dallas this weekend four us to marvel at. At the end, I gotta take my #Packers to pull off the on the road upset and advance, PACKERS 35-28
