Week 8 is in the books! My final pick’em record for Week 8 was 6-5. I do not count the tie for or against my record. Bolded are the teams that won their respective games. Dashed to the right are the teams who I thought would win the game. Podcast will post on Wednesdays, Pick'em Thursdays and as usual, get at me for that fantasy advice!

Top 3 take-aways from Week 8
Vikings recently made the number one spot in my top 10 rankings. However, a two game skid is now what were are left with. The first loss to Philly wasn’t all that of a shocker, a great defense in their own respect shut down the Viking offense. However, a loss to the lowly Bears is something to be shocked about. I haven’t seen the numbers but it seems like teams are now sending the house at this porous offensive line.
The Patriots are out for revenge or blood. We could very well be looking at the Patriots running the table and never losing another game. Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback to play the game, period. Coupled with, what many will argue, the greatest coach of all time, this team doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
The Chiefs seem to have figured out what works. These past two weeks they have thrown the ball vertically more than I’ve ever seen them do in the past. Hill is a speedster that will stay involved in the offense. They have very good RB’s and a Quarterback that doesn’t make mistakes. Along with a good defense, this team can make a run. So long as Reid doesn’t keep screwing it up.
