Week 15 in the books already! There are a lot of teams in the “control your own destiny” phase of the NFL season. The next two weeks are going to be some great football. I don’t count anyone out, except for those already eliminated. Along with that I really hope the Browns win one before seasons end but damn, they are struggling! So, same as usual, we will run down my picks and then my top 3 take-aways from this week. Bolded are the teams that won their respective matchup and dashed to the right are the teams that I picked to win.
Rams at Seahawks – Seahawks
Dolphins at Jets – Dolphins
Eagles at Ravens – Ravens
Browns at Bills – Bills
Packers at Bears – Packers
Jaguars at Texans – Texans
Titans at Chiefs – Chiefs
Colts at Vikings – Vikings (Possible Upset)
Lions at Giants – Giants
Steelers at Bengals – Steelers
Saints at Cardinals – Cardinals
49ers at Falcons – Falcons
Patriots at Broncos – Patriots
Raiders at Chargers – Raiders
Buccaneers at Cowboys – Cowboys (Lock to Win)
Panthers at Redskins – Panthers
Top 3 take-aways form NFL Week 15
1. The Pack is on a roll. Not only is their offense starting to looks somewhat of what we are accustomed to but the defense is starting to get some take-aways as well. Obviously, their future is all about the health of Aaron Rodgers but if he can stay healthy look out, playoff Packers are always a team to look out for.
2. Well, it’s really hard to think of a team worse than the Jets. We can talk about the Browns record but these Jets are just painful to watch. The defense is terrible even though they made a concerted effort to hire a defensive minded coach and spend a bunch of money on that side of the ball. On the bright side, I do think Bilal Powell deserves an RB1 shot.
3. Even in a loss the Buccaneers have showed us the growth. They played the Cowboys as tough as any team has played them all year long. They still have a shot at the division AND a playoff birth is within reach. That would be a great thing for this franchise. Not only that but Jameis is really coming into his own.
