Week 9 is in the books are there were some very good games. Below are the results of all the games this week. Bolded are the teams that won their respective games. Dashed to the right are the teams that I chose to win. This week was ok. Ended with a record of 9-4. Also, I picked two of the three “extra picks” for Week 9.
Falcons at Buccaneers – Falcons
Lions at Vikings – Vikings (Picked Lions as Possible Upset)
Eagles at Giants – Eagles
Jaguars at Chiefs – Chiefs
Cowboys at Browns – Cowboys
Jets at Dolphins – Dolphins
Steelers at Ravens – Steelers
Saints at 49ers – Saints (Correct Locked to Win)
Panthers at Rams – Panthers
Titans at Chargers – Chargers (Highest scoring, I chose Colts/Packers)
Colts at Packers – Packers
Broncos at Raiders – Raiders
Bill at Seahawks – Seahawks
Top 3 Take-Aways from Week 9
1. The NFL as a whole is lacking in good officiating. You can pick and choose in every game a call that was wrong or missed. However, it wasn’t highlighted more than the horrendous calls in the MNF game between the Bills and Seahawks. I completely agree that some of the NFL head coaches that believe the NFL needs full-time refs. However, is it a matter of full-time or consistency? It may be both but its needs to be fixed ASAP!
2. The Minnesota Vikings look lost on defense. Crazy to say doesn’t it? Along with a flailing offensive line the Vikings haven’t been their normal selves the past three weeks. Three straight loses has people wondering what is wrong with them. The offense looked much better this week as opposed to previous weeks. However, the schedule doesn’t get much easier then it was for the last two weeks.
3. Jimmy Graham was an after thought after a brutal injury last year. However he has quietly become a force to be reckoned with, again. After an 8 catch, on 8 targets, 103 yard and 2 TD game, its safe to say Jimmy is back. This comes at a perfect time given the run game woes of the Seahawks. Which begs the question, how good could he be if they did have a run game?
