I will not be doing this weekly. I will do them at 3,6,9,12 and Pre Playoff. That way you can get a grasp of why there was such a fluctuation in rankings. Hope you enjoy! This is my first ever released Power Rankings.
New England Patriots – Listen, you go 2-0 without Tom Brady and you deserve the number one spot. Then you embarrass the Texans 27-0 with the third stringer? Yea, you simply solidify that spot. Sorry, Denver.
Minnesota Vikings – No one has been more accurate about this team than me. Not even the “experts”. This defense is 2nd best in football, period. Sam looks sharp and RBBC’s aren’t always a bad thing. This team is real.
Denver Broncos – Trevor Siemian looked awful comfortable back there. The number one defense and two No.1 receivers always helps. CJ looks great too. This team will be up here all season.
Seattle Seahawks – A loss to LA makes people forget how dominant this defense has been. Offense has its problems, sure but defense wins championships. In Russ We Trust.
Green Bay Packers – I have my reservations on putting them this high but the truth is on a neutral field they can beat all the below teams, in my opinion. However, don’t let this “big” game make you think they figured it out. They still have a lot to prove.
Philadelphia Eagles – Carson Wentz is legit. You know what is even more legit? That defense. The Eagles are allowing a 9 point per game average. They just held the Steelers to 3 points. They were averaging 30.
Pittsburgh Steelers – Everyone has a bad day. However, it just looked bad this week. 3 points? Good thing Le’Veon is coming back. They need a spark.
Arizona Cardinals – Look, the loss to the Pats at home you can excuse. This week was bad. Palmer looked bad. The defense was leaky. The only bright spot was David Johnson. However, they have too much talent on both sides of the ball to continue this type of play. Still a top 10 team.
Dallas Cowboys – Listen, the Cowboys are playing great. They could easily be 3-0 if Terrence Williams knew what he was doing. Dak looks great. Zeke looks great. Dez is finally getting involved. Beasly emerging. If the defense gets on board, look out.
Carolina Panthers – Their two loses came to my number 2 and 3, respectively, in the power rankings. The Super Bowl slump is a real thing. They will figure it out. Don’t worry.
