First and foremost, as we start every podcast during the football season, the NFL Week 4 recap. Week 3 record was 8-7 (my picks bolded). Yuck, terrible, just terrible. Lets hope I can rebound for Week 5. Predictions will drop on Thursday.

Jaguars over Colts
Texans over Titans
Redskins over Browns
Seahawks over Jets
Bills over Patriots
Falcons over Panthers
Raiders over Ravens
Bears over Lions
Broncos over Buccaneers
Rams over Cardinals
Saints over Chargers
Cowboys over 49ers
Steelers over Chiefs
Vikings over Giants
My three takeaways from Week 4 in the NFL.
1. Le’Veon Bell changes the landscape of the NFL more so than any other player in the league. When healthy the case can be made that he is the BEST RB IN THE LEAGUE. I for one believe that there should be no case made because he simply is the best. This offense is just better with him. That, however, is no knock on Deangelo Williams, who filled in superbly in his absence. Bell is simply a different type of superstar.
2. Odell Beckham Jr is slowly but surely becoming one of the most hated sports figures in the NFL. One could even argue, in American sports. While, amazingly talented OBJ lacks the mental fortitude needed to remain in the spotlight of the world. Coming into his own after missing a few games his rookie season, OBJ, has made quite the name for himself. He is an internationally star. However, he is also, rapidly, becoming a cancer to his team.
3. The Vikings defense could very well be the best in the NFL. Denver to me is definitely a close, if not tied for first, second place. The teams and players they have shut down 4 weeks into the season is just unbelievable. Xavier Rhodes is a top CB in the league, period. Their depth at all positions will carry this team far. Lets just hope the injury bug doesn’t hit them later on in the season.
Fantasy Football Update
I recently traded away Will Fuller V for Eddie Lacy. I think Lacy is on the come up and Will Fuller is a pretty cheap buy. As it currently sits my roster now has Jordan Howard, Kenneth Dixon, David Johnson, Melvin Gordon and Eddie Lacy. I will probably try and flip one for a higher end receiver in the near future.
Eddie Royal is now a hot commodity. Kevin White was placed on IR. Although he is eligible to return Week 8, I would not count on it. A high ankle sprain caused a fracture in his lower leg.
Kenneth Dixon seems to be inching closer to taking the reigns. The signs have been on the wall for a while now. West did have a good game but he seems to be a bridge to Dixon. If you haven’t done so, go get him.
Candidate to sell high on – Melvin Gordon
Candidate to buy low on – Eddie Lacy
