Oakland at Houston
Oakland, even without Carr, simply has the better roster. If they can get solid QB play and their defense to show up I do not see why that can’t advance to the next round. Also, with the injury to Tom Savage (concussion), it seems more likely that Brock will get the start. Brock just isn’t a good QB. Give me Oakland here 24-22.
Detroit at Seattle
Detroit was on a roll before they got the injury bug. Riddick, then Stafford, then shutdown corner Slay and the list goes one. Although, the same could be said about Seattle’s defense. The difference is the pass rush. Seattle has the better pass rush and on top of the better defense there is a former Super Bowl champ at the helm. Give me Seattle here 21-17.
Miami at Pittsburgh
This break down is easy. Big Ben > Matt Moore. Leveon Bell > Jay Ajayi. Antonio Brown > NFL WRs. Do not read too much into that early season loss to these Dolphins. Give me Pittsburgh in a BLOWOUT 42-14
NY Giants at Green Bay
This one was tough for me. Watching the game I was secretly hoping for a Green Bay loss. Why? Well Seattle’s defense, although very good, has shown weaknesses after losing Earl Thomas. Not to mention the woes Green Bay faces vs NY at home. However, I feel confident about how well the offense is playing. They are getting scattered production from the RB’s and Aaron Rodgers is doing Aaron Rodgers things. Giants defense is good. Very, very good. That is their one and only hope in advancing to a third match with Brady. However, it ends here. Give me the Packers at home 28-21
