Power Rankings after Week 2.
Week 2 is officially over and we move onto week 3, but not before reviewing the action from last week.
Week 2 Matchups:
Nick 143.3 (0-2, OVW 3) v. Mark 150.3 (2-0, OVW 7)
Abysmal performances by Ezekiel Elliott and Tyrod Taylor, didn't stop Mark from pulling out this victory and moving to 2-0 on the season. Of course it helped that Nick continuously forgets it is a 2 QB league, meaning you have to start 2 QB's and this week he only started one healthy one. Nick could of inserted any competent QB into the lineup and he would of got his first victory of the season, but instead he falls to 0-2.
Sebastian 161.1 (1-1, OVW 7) v. Bobby 110.2 (1-1, OVW 5)
Last week, Sebastian lost his first round selection and #1 overall pick, David Johnson for what is presumed to by most of the regular season. Just when everyone thought his team would be left for dead, he bounced back in Week 2 and beat Bobby, the continual shit talker and trader decliner. Strong performances by Todd Gurley and Travis Kelce helped lead Sebastian to this 50+ point victory, as Demarco Murray, Jordy Nelson and his merry band of non-tradeable players limped to the finish line this week for Bobby. Both move to 1-1 on the season.
Garen 122.9 (1-1, OVW 7) v. Dave 194.9 (2-0, OVW 13)
The self-proclaimed Fantasy Genius took his first L of the young fantasy season as Dave wiped the floor with his team. Dave's team has clearly set the bar for what will probably be the highest scoring team of the season (although nothing is guaranteed in fantasy); he's only been outscored by one person in two weeks of play.
Tom 203.5 (1-1, OVW 10) v. Irvin 156.8 (0-2, OVW 4)
The reigning champ dropped his second straight matchup after posting the lowest score of the week in Week 1, he had a nice bounce back week, but fell short to the highest scoring team of Week 2. Tom was able to pull up to .500, getting his first win of the season and posting the highest score to date, by three points. Tom has the second highest scoring team at the moment and the only other team with double digit overall wins.
Week 2 of the Power Rankings provided quite a bit of moving around, as this week Scoring Consistency was factored in as well. Mark moved up two spots into #1, while Dave dropped to #2. Tom makes his first appearance in the top 3, moving up two spots from #5 last week. Sebastian is this weeks biggest mover though, moving from 8th place after week 1, up to the five hole.
