Week 4 Review
Dave 144.7 (3-1, OVW 22) v. Mark 187.8 (3-1, OVW 14)
Finally the mighty have fallen, as Week 4 proved to be too much the high scoring team. The only lineup change Dave could have made would have been starting Alex Smith over Big Ben, but even that wouldn't have been enough. Luckily for Mark, he didn't need the strong performances left on his bench (Cousins with 27 and Kamara with 25.6). Dave and Mark are now tied for the league lead in wins with three a piece.
Tom 158.6 (1-3, OVW 14) v. Sebastian 253.5 (2-2, OVW 17)
After each of the first three weeks of the season, it was no surprise that after Week 4, we had yet another high score for the season. Sebastian sets the new mark at 253.5, setting the new record by almost 30 points. This record setting pace left Tom with little to no option but to lay down and take a 95 point whooping. Oh and Sebastian started two players that score 2.9 and 1.7 and had Deshaun Watson on his bench or he could have possibly broken the 300 point mark.
Garen 137.7 (2-2, OVW 13) v. Nick 153.9 (2-2, OVW 10)
The fantasy genius falls in this match up to Nick, who is on a two game win streak after starting out 0-2. Garen's team had a nice steady week, but that didn't cut the bread this week. It hurts even more that Garen could have started Cam Newton over his hero Carson Wentz and would have won this match. In the end, Andy Dalton of all people led Nick to victory.
Irvin 122.0 (0-4, OVW 6) v. Bobby 171.5 (3-1, OVW 16)
Knock knock. Who's there? Owen. Owen who? 0-4. What a rough start for the defending champion, who posted his second low score of the week this season. Bobby won behind strong performances from Bell and Jordy, but Irv didn't stand much of a chance, losing by almost 50 points. Bobby maintains pace for the league leading record at 3-1 with Mark and Dave.
Even coming off a loss, Dave maintains the #1 position. Ironically the only other person that maintained his position in the power ranks is Irv in the #8 spot. Mark and Bobby each moved up one spot as Garen fell two to round out the top four. Sebastian and Nick are storming up from the end to get into the top four as well. Tom falls the #7 spot and as mentioned before Irv rounds out the group at #8.
Upcoming Match Up of the Week
Bobby v. Garen
This young but budding rivalry, see's these two come head to head for the first time this season. Bobby leads the all time series at 4-2, but a victory by Garen this week would give both a 3-2 record for the 2017 season.
