1.New England Patriots (6-1) (ESPN #1) – Remain at #1
The Patriots got the victory over the Steelers in a matchup that was much more anticipated before Ben was out with his injury.
2.Dallas Cowboys (5-1) (ESPN #4) – UP 1
They had a bye week, but moved up thanks to Minnesota losing horribly. No one else behind them was impressive enough to jump over them.
3.Seattle Seahawks (4-1-1) (ESPN #2) – UP 2
What a good game this past Sunday against division rival Arizona. It was a battle of the defenses and it came down to the kickers, both of which missed gaming winning field goals within 30 yards.
4.Denver Broncos (5-2) (ESPN #3) – UP 4
The Broncos defense stated they wanted to kill Osweiler and that’s basically what they did. Either that or he really isn’t good, but that’s another conversation for another day. We’ll see how this offense looks going forward with Anderson out and Booker taking over the lead role.
5.Minnesota Vikings (5-1) (ESPN #5) – DOWN 3
Finally losing all of their offensive lineman caught up to them. The line play was horrendous and that lead to bad Sam Bradford, you’re not going to win with Bad Sam.
6.Atlanta Falcons (4-3) (ESPN #10) – DOWN 2
San Diego usually lose games late, but Atlanta allowed them to find a way to win late. The Falcons made a gamble going for it on fourth and short on their side of the field and it backfired in their face. They need to put this game behind them and not let this loss snowball.
7.Oakland Raiders (5-2) (ESPN #11) – Unranked
The offense looked good again, but it was against Jacksonville. They also played better on defense, but again it was Jacksonville.
8.Arizona Cardinals (3-3-1) ESPN #7) – UP 2
Arizona’s defense has kept them in games all season for the most part. If they could just get the offense going, they would be able to start winning some of these games they need to win to make the playoffs.
9.Green Bay Packers (4-2) (ESPN #6) – Unranked
The Packers looked bad in the first half, but looked like the Packers offense of the past. They will need to find a running back besides Ty Montgomery if they want to continue to keep the pressure off of Rodgers.
10.Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) (ESPN #9) – Unranked
The Chiefs were able to get a victory at home against the Saints but allowed Brees to pass for 350+ yards, but it was a defensive touchdown that was the difference at home.
Biggest Jump: Denver Broncos
Biggest Drop: Minnesota Vikings
Dropped out of Top 10: Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins
