Another week, another edition of The Good, The Bad, The Ugly:
We'll start the good off this week with the top score of the week
Christos K. - Christos posted a 175.3 in a week that saw only four people score at least 150 points. TY Hilton's massive day helped lead CK to the top this week and negating Jordy Nelson on scoring 7.5. All others players in the lineup scored at least 12 points, including his kicker coming in at 14.
Matt D. - Coming in second this week, Matt scored a 173.0, just 2.3 points from tying for the lead. Jared Goff, Carlos Hyde and the Jags defense lead Matt's team scoring 92.3 of the 173 points. Matt avoided disaster starting Crabtree and Desean Jackson (scored 12.3 points combined) as everyone else scored at least 14 points.
Biggest Movers - Ironically (or maybe not), Christos and Matt are both the biggest movers going up in the standings this week. Matt moved up ten spots, going from 15th to 5th and Christos moved up nine spots, going from 16th to 7th.
The Top 4 - Another week and the top four in the standings have remained the same. Joe M., John A., Allen M. and Bernie hold down the top of the standings while everything under them continues to churn.
Dave C. - Down 7 spots, 14th to 21st - A 77.1 was good enough for the 6th worst score this week (out of posted lineups). J Stewart led the way this week, losing -1.9 points. Tom Savage was also a bad choice... don't you work in a fantasy sports department?
Sebastian - Down 6 spots, 13th to 19th - A 95.5 isn't terrible but was on the low end of the scale of scores this week.
Nick F. - Down 6 spots, 24th to 30th. - Fraley that is, he's to busy out blowing guys on the street corner for some exclusive Funko pop characters to put in a solid lineup. Nick scored 67.8, good for second lowest score of the week out of submitted lineups. It definitely doesn't help that he's running out of Packers to pick either.
The other Nick F. - This one is Fererri, who almost fell out of the top ten this week but barely held on with a 108.2, falling from 5th to 9th. Also, he started Tom Savage as well; stop conspiring with Dave Coliseum and picking the same bad QBs.
Mark M. - Started off good taking Tyrod on TNF, but than submitted two dupes and some trash players along with a Bills defense registering -1.
The Fantasy Genius - The self proclaimed genius finally put a stop to the inevitable slide. Garen was as high as 2nd place in Week 1, but has fallen each week starting Week 5, all the way down to 19th. He finishes this week in 16th, almost back in the top 15, we'll see what week 10 brings.
Eliminator Pool - Eliminations for the last two weeks include:
Week 8 - Nick Fraley, George G, Tom Malia
Week 9 - Jon K, Davide C. and Thomas Pierick
12 - And I'm not talking about the 12th man in Seattle. This 12 stands for the individuals that all did not submit a lineup in Week 9, nine of which also did not submit lineups last week, indicating they are most likely done for the season. Even though you're never really out of it (you can win any individual weeks), less people I have to compete with to get into the top 30.
Uncle Chris - 37.6.. this is clearly one of the "ugh what had happened was" situations. I think my uncle was looking at the wrong schedule and selected two Patriots that were on a bye week and three Redskins players that combined for 3.7 points.
The Giants - I mean did you see that game? The Giants got completely embarrassed, allowing the Rams look like the greatest offense since the Rams teams that won the Super Bowl many many years ago.
The Eagles - Ugh they're 8-1. While I'm sure there are a few (too many) of you that are enjoying this season by the Eagles, I'm over it. I won't get into bashing the Eagles, cause we play each other in two weeks and I don't want to jinx anything, but I'll leave you with this. Dallas was also 8-1 at one point last year and looking like the best team in the league... They won zero Super Bowls last year.
Player Elimination Fantasy Fooball League
As heard on Sirius XM Radio, the P.E.F.F.L was founded by Mark Caruso in 2014. This new format of fantasy football is great way to play the fantasy football game we all love by combining Daily Fantasy Sports and a Survivor Pool.
